Absorb what you can with a towel - DO NOT SCRUB or you may spread & set the stain in the pile. using small amounts of water at a time, dilute the stain and continue blotting untill it wont get better. Cover the area with salt - the salt will absorb moisture and can be vacuumed up, use an alkaline based spotter (or a Go-Clean professional), and continue to blott - you may just save your carpets. Baking soda, soap or shampoo can be used if a spotter is not available. The sooner you get to it, the better your chances!
